Remy Charlip was a founder and member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in 1953, he also designed their costumes and sets and created flyers for their performances. He was in a circle of artists and intellectuals ranging from Willem de Kooning to Buckminster Fuller. He later became a well known writer and illustrator of children’s books. Rex in DC
