Les Workman was a gym owner in Denver who met Don Whitman and together with Phil Dewald they started the Mr Colorado Contest 1950-1972 that was held at the Phipps auditorium in Denver’s City Park. Workman also let Whitman recruit physique models from the bodybuilders at his gym. The photo is definitely from at least the 1950’s with no zip code for the P.O. Box. Zip codes first came out in 1963 and Zippy encouraged everyone to use them. -Rj
