One can sometimes see the process through which Bob Mizer chose one particular image in a series of similar poses to be the “album shot.” AMG catalogue pages can bear evidence of the initial order of a session and then the manual transfer of a higher catalogue number shot “up front” into the album, those images numbered 1-12. I think Mizer decided on the album shots at the end of the process, understandably, since the best poses emerged from lengthy sessions where most of the images were not quite so compelling. In this case, this is one of Olsen’s album poses in his first AMG album and catalogue, so Mizer was pleased with it!
