  2. Bishop was the most prolific physique model of his time. Posing on the Great Lake shores of his home state of Michigan for Delmonteque, Oettinger, Juleff and Saxon.
Bishop also sold his own photos and swimwear from his Grand Haven house, the money he earned went towards paying his tuition at a chiropractic school. He became a chiropractor and kept a low profile. Surprisingly in his last appearance in a physique magazine Bishop berated homosexuals as deviates in an interview, the same homosexuals whose monies supported his career as a physique model and paid for his living.

    1. The last part makes me sad. Is it hypocrisy, is it (finally expressed) homophobia? Delmonteque seems neutral on the subject, while John Murphy claimed (unconvincingly) that he was unaware of his audience; Rick Wayne went further, I think, and rejected his gay fans. It's too bad, since, as you say, these fans loved them and supported them, and their successors collect those images and talk about the models still.

    2. No doubt Murphy was well aware, as he was a great model and did many classic poses for Mizer.
Delmonteque supposedly had a lavender marriage to protect his image. Physique models like Dan Lurie, Steven Wengryn, Mark Nixon, Joe Leitel, Ed Fury and others knew full well, with good humor, that their audience was gay men. Bishop should have taken a lesson from those men and their outlook.

  3. Adonis des Sees.
Delmonteque muss in Versuchung geführt worden sein, wie Bishop zweifellos viele Männer dazu gebracht hat.
