Chewing the fat of the latest gay gossip of who’s fucking who, the latest Broadway plays, another police raid, the curvature of Nureyev’s ass, the latest concerts by Garland and Dietrich and those crazy kids called hippies in California. :) In more formal fashion in fine homes far from Fire Island in NYC, Philly, Boston and DC, gay men of means would have gay salons with discussions of politics, art and theater over meals of fine food and cocktails. Just as my uncle hosted for his circle of gay friends and professionals at his home in suburban DC. Rex in DC
