From a photo series of gruff Gironda covered in body paint of silver pigment and glycerin. The palms of the hands, soles of the feet and the perineum have to be left unpainted from blocking all the pores to prevent heatstroke. Buddy Ebson had been cast as the Tin Man in the Wizard Oz, but had to be replaced when he had a severe reaction to the toxic paint of white clown makeup covered with aluminum dust.
