Founder of the Banyan Press with Claude Fredericks in 1946, Saul did the typesetting. Van Vechten called them the Banyan Tots. Saul was from a well to do family, went to Princeton and survived a ship sunk by a torpedo while serving in the Navy in Ww2. In 1950 Saul broke up with Fredericks and left the Banyan Press. Rex in DC
