My pleasure! The guy on the left in the first photo gives me Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan) vibes, but I don't think it's him. The face looks damn familiar and he has a VERY well developed upper body.
The man in the suit checking out the other man’s bicep is bodybuilder John Farbotnik, champion of 1950 when in that year he won the titles: Mr California, Mr Junior America, Mr America and Mr World Universe. In 1951 he was Mr America Pro, before all these titles he had been Mr Philadelphia, and when he moved to Illinois, Mr Chicago. As a youth he trained at John Fritsch’s gym in Philadelphia and went on to work as an instructor for a gym in California run by bodybuilder and physique model Harold Zinkin and another gym owned by Les and Pudgy Stockton of Muscle Beach fame. -Rj
Farbotnik must have had his clothes tailor fitted for his great physique. You can tell he’s a powerhouse bodybuilder even when he’s fully dressed. -CA jock
